2024 COPA Volunteer Awards Recipients
Discover Aviation
On Sunday June 9, 2024, the COPA National AGM was held at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum at Hamilton International Airport. COPA 149 Discover Aviation Coordinator Doug Reilly was presented with a Director's Award recognizing Doug's outstanding efforts to advance, promote and preserve our Canadian Freedom to Fly. The Discover Aviation event at the Niagara District Dorothy Rungeling Airport in August of 2023 saw COPA 149 volunteer pilots introduce a record 96 young aviators to the joys of flight, supported by numerous other volunteers on the ground.
